Our practice has developed its own online-based platform for GPS tracking of large numbers of mobility survey participants. The platform gathers and maps geo-spatial data and enables the gathering and processing of qualitative and quantitative survey information.
MobilityPal gathers knowledge about urban mobility behaviour and related individual preferences from a rich set of data sources:
GPS tracking and ethnographic survey questionnaires create insights to mobility choices and behaviors from respondents that range from dozens to thousands of survey participants.
Big Data harvesting:
MobilityPal establishes site and city profiles by filtering publicly available data sources such as Instagram, Twitter, Four Square, Flicker, and government/open data.
