S+G Facilitate Growth at Elite University

Denmark's Technical University is looking to reinforce its global standing as a leading scientific university. The goal to strengthen its academic position is tied to an adopted investment plan that is underway and will see the construction of 20 new buildings to the value of 4 billion kroner implemented by 2017.

As part of a group of leading Danish consultants working together to draw up the next generation development plan, the practice has been asked to develop a mobility plan. The DTU Mobility Plan will work with all modes of movement and transportation to prepare the basis for additional development of space for teaching, research and commercial use. Using GPS tracking technology and extensive survey activities, the practice has mapped the existing behaviour and needs as expressed by a representative group of students, faculty and staff.
